Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress, born in Berkeley on the 1st October 1996. She is a well-known actress in Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2007) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House 2022.

Asia Argento began her career as an actor as an actress in Rome. The family she is from also includes a number of film makers. When she was nine, she made her acting debut in Sergio Ciotti's film Sogni e bisogni. in 1988 she portrayed the lead role in Cristina Comencini's first feature film Zoo. It was a complex role and demanding, earning the David di Donatello for the best actress. In 1995 she worked together alongside Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte Compagna di viaggio, for which she won the title of David di Donatello. Asia started directing short films in 1994. In addition, she was the director of an episode in the movie De Generazione. 1996 saw her direct a documentary with her father. 1998 was the year she directed AbelAsia about the legendary filmmaker Abel Ferrara. This film received a prize from the Rome Film Festival. The year 1999 was the year Asia made her feature-directing debut by directing Scarlet Diva with Scarlet Diva, in which she played the lead actor and wrote the screenplay. The film premiered in May 2000 in Italy as well as the rest of the world. The film was awarded an award during the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
